Attendees at DrupalCamp England

The UK's largest Drupal event arrives at the University of Salford, Manchester on 28th February – 1st March — and there's something for everyone, whether you're a seasoned Drupal professional or simply curious about what open source technology can do for your organisation.

Following the success of last year's event in Cambridge, the programme has been extended to two days. Across the weekend, you'll find a full schedule of presentations from international speakers covering the latest developments in Drupal, open source and AI.

Highlights from the expanded programme

The schedule has been designed to suit audiences of all skills and experience levels, making it an ideal event whether you are a seasoned developer, a site manager, a decision-maker or someone exploring Drupal for the first time.

On the technical side, sessions explore PHP Fibers in Drupal Core, scaling multisite deployments with GitHub Actions, building design systems with UI Pattern Suite, using HTMX for interactive elements, improving site performance with Partytown, and automating PDF imports into Drupal.

AI features prominently, with sessions covering Drupal CMS's no-code visual AI agent builder, the role of AI in content improvement, and wider discussions on what AI means for the open web and why Drupal remains a strong choice in an AI-driven landscape. These sessions range from hands-on technical demonstrations to accessible, high-level conversations that require no coding knowledge.

Accessibility is well represented, with sessions addressing real-world challenges such as tab traps, focus management and ARIA fixes, alongside practical guidance on achieving IAAP certification.

Several sessions focus on strategy and organisational impact, including how Cambridge simplified a large web estate, growing a team to transform a university website, and the cost of not adopting open source — topics that will resonate with managers and leadership teams as much as with technical practitioners.

The programme also covers the future direction of Drupal CMS including its UX development, content architecture, the sustainability of the open web, and contextual approaches to media management in Drupal.

Drupal in a Day students

New for 2026

Sunday's programme brings even more to explore, featuring an unconference, free Drupal in a Day training, AI workshops and further networking opportunities. The Drupal in a Day training is open to anyone looking to start a career in Drupal, students, or anyone wishing to extend their digital skills — no prior experience required.

Beyond the formal programme, DrupalCamp is a welcoming space to reconnect with familiar faces, make new connections, exchange knowledge with peers, explore workshops and meet potential collaborators and employers.
